Product Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

In the role of Product Assurance Engineer, you will combine an independent outlook with being a partner with the production and Program groups of the site. Ensuring and improving the quality of production processes, products and services, you will look beyond the boundaries of departments and act. You will plan and host audits on products/services and production processes to demonstrate and ensure that these processes meet the requirements and expectations of customers, that they are robust and effective in achieving defined objectives. Reporting identified findings and opportunities for improvement, best practices and risks and supporting in realizing a continuous improvement culture. 

 

This role is based in Hoogeveen. 

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the site Quality Manager, you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:


•    Create/maintain a defined QAP/Delta, Appendix I and FAI compliancy matrix.
•    Organise and host roles with customer audits/surveys.
•    Within the quality team, add customer audit data to the local audit plan.
•    Support in PO reviews.
•    Support customer complaints/NoE.
•    Customer point of contact for quality.
•    Continued roll out of the “Quality Culture” across the site.
•    Identifying and Sharing “Best Practices” across the site and supporting continual improvements of the site QMS.

Job Qualifications

To fulfil this role, we ask the following:

 

  • Fluency in English written and spoken.
  • Has the necessary attitude, interpersonal skills and behavioural characteristics to perform the tasks independently.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of aviation industry and customer specific requirements for quality management (ISO9001/AS9100 and related standards) and experience with QMS Process Approach.
  • Demonstrated experience with Practical Problem Solving (PPS) and Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) techniques to support and ensure effective follow-up of audit findings.
