The site of GKN Aerospace Fokker in Hoogerheide is a dynamic environment with ample development
opportunities. We work hybrid, with an average of two days in the office and three days remotely. This can vary
according to your wishes. Our site in Hoogerheide will move and be integrated into the site in Papendrecht by the
end of 2023.
Job Summary
The IT Software tester operates from the Centre of Excellence WDMS team, which consists of Specialists, Developers, Testers and Functional Application Managers. As an expert in the field of business processes, information systems and change management, you play an important and proactive role in improving these systems and business processes.
Job Responsibilities
If you are an enthusiastic, result-driven tester with a hands-on attitude, you will excel at:
• You perform software tests for new functionalities of our Oracle based applications.
• You draw up test plans, carry out the tests and identify errors. You discuss this with functional analysts and software developers, so that they can process your results.
• You participate in refinements to understand and sharpen the features to be built.
• You are continuously working with the CoE lead and others to improve our development and testing process.
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science/IT/Testing or equivalent level gained through experience.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Development and Business Support.
• A very good command of the English and Dutch language is necessary.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook (usage of formulas).
• ITIL process knowledge.
• You have experience with (automated) test systems and are able to independently analyze requirements and develop test plans.
• You have experience with Agile / Scrum.
• You show a lot of initiative and you can be described as a solution-oriented, enterprising and pragmatic person.
• Excellent documentation skills.
