The role

In this challenging role, you are a the linking pin between Manufacturing,Engineering, Technology and Finance to support the Integrated Project Team (IPT). As such your day-to-day work consists (a.o.) of the following:  

  • You manage the demand for new build parts and spares packages, maintaining demand in de ERP system, monitoring the timely deliveries, customer contact;
  • You support multiple and concurrent activities and projects, and respond to external customer requirements;
  • You maintain administrative systems to assure compliance to company policy, customer requirements and regulatory agency guidelines; 
  • And you collect data and manage weekly, monthly and ad hoc progress updates to the master schedule and budget performance and provide reporting status to the program manager;  
  • You manage and assist in the execution of projects tied to the Program goals (e.g. process improvements, design changes, NPI’s, Supply Chain development);
  • You assist the program manager in evaluation of changes and in presentations to the CCB and management;

In addition to daily responsibilities, you work independently or in a team to plan, organize and complete a variety of non-recurring and ongoing projects assigned by the assigned Program Manager including but not limited to: assist with research work on engineering projects, special reports, spreadsheets, presentations, strategic plans, and data manipulation. 

Your profile

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or equivalent;
  • Approx. 2-4 years of work experience;
  • Excellent oral and written skills to include good spelling and grammar skills (English);
  • Strong affinity with project management in an engineering and manufacturing environment required;
  • Strong working knowledge of spreadsheet (Excel), MS Project, word processing (Word) and presentation (Power Point) software required;
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations and/or program requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace industry experience preferred;
  • Willingness and ability to achieve DoD clearance.      

Getting Started:

In order to make your start as successful as possible, you will receive an extensive training program. The duration and content depends on your role and the experience you bring with you, and will take place at our location in Helmond. After this training period, in which you get to know the processes within Fokker Landing Gear in detail, you will start working with your colleagues in Papendrecht!
