Who are we?

GKN Fokker Landing Gear is part of GKN Fokker Technologies and is active in the field of Landing Gear and related systems. This includes the design and development, production and assembly of complete Landing Gear systems, but also the repair and re-assembly of systems in use. Fokker Landing Gear is with her ± 250 employee’s active in the F16 Fighter Aircraft, the Apache Combat helicopter, the F35 Lightning II (JSF), the Bombardier Dash 8 Q400, the multipurpose NH90 Helicopter and the MQ-9 Drone. About the position

As Program Lead you operationally heads a mutlidisciplinairy integrated program team with functions within procurement, finance, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Liaison, configuration- and change management, to ensure excellent operational execution and customer satisfaction in full compliance with the contract, with targets focused on labor spent, procurement, quality and process. You communicate regularly with the customer(s) and as a Program Lead you represent our customer(s) within our company.

You, as Program Lead delivers Business Cases, balance sheet (working capital), revenue, margins and budget including delivering the STRAT plan though the annual budgets. By translating the yearly objectives into projects and targets and by measuring them via a pre-defined KPI-Dashboard you’re able to monitor and manage the progress on the targets.  

You identify and pull the insertion of technology to reduce cost and improve program performance and as a Program Lead you manage risks and opportunities to ensure the optimization of margins and revenue in order to achieve contractual requirements.The Program Lead ensures capacity and competency requirements for resources and investments are provided through the various function processes including the MPS, SIOP and procurement external supply chain management processes.

About you:

You dare to challenge yourself and others. By being communicative, customer focused, analytical and result oriented, you can persuade others without having the hierarchical responsibility. You’re fluently in English and you possess more than 3 years of relevant work experience including planning experience.

  • You have a relevant Bachelor degree or equivalent;
  • You preferably have a certification of IPMA D or equivalent.
