Job Summary

Do you want to support our journey to develop GKN supply chain with our own casting house?

 We are in an exciting phase as we will support a high volume production program implementation of GKN cast products through Hallstahammar, Kongsberg in Norway and Trollhättan.  We want to strengthen our team with a Supply Chain Master Scheduler. The role will be mainly focused on building this function in Hallstahammar but also ensure the flowless connection of demand and fullfillment between the sites and the suppliers.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will partner with GAIC in Hallstahammar to strengthen Master Scheduling ways of working, collaborating closely with Team Leads to support effective Shop Floor Scheduling. You will establish processes and systems to manage and monitor product flow across sites, while analyzing capacity and performance to define clear planning assumptions for MPS and SIOP cycles.

You will also drive the design of the future-state extended value stream and optimize inventory strategies. At the same time, you will enhance transparency and decision-making by developing visual management tools that support alignment and performance across stakeholders

  • Several years of Work experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (Monitor preferred)
  • Good knowledge of MPS, SIOP and capacity planning
  • English - Basic skills in speaking and writing
  • Ability to travel to Trollhättan and Kongsberg as needed
