Job Summary

The TCO serves as the principal advisor to the Government Security Committee concerning the protection of controlled unclassified information and other proprietary technology and data subject to regulatory or contractual control by the US Government. 
 

Job Responsibilities

•    Provide oversight to three locations within the Special Security Agreement environment, reporting to the Compliance Director
•    Provide functional management to site Export Compliance Officers
•    Manage and oversee Information Technology function, working with the Corporate Facility Security Officer to ensure security and compliance to procedures
•    Implement, update and enforce the Technology Control plan 
•    Provide reports to senior management and the Board regarding export and legal activity in work
•    Provide reasonable assurance to senior management and the Board that there are effective and efficient policies and procedures in place and that the company is complying with all regulatory and TCP requirements. 
•    Conduct periodic internal reviews of SSA export compliance procedures
•    Independently investigate and act on matters related to export/TCP compliance. 
•    Inform and status senior management and the Board concerning violations and mitigation plans around TCP/Export activity
•    Interact with regulators on compliance issues as required
•    Continuous education regarding export compliance to incorporate changes within the organization
•    Oversee and monitor the implementation of the export compliance program inclusive of updates and improvements to control the unauthorized transfer of controlled unclassified information
•    Provide assistance to the ECO’s in the development and continuous improvements of training and educational programs, to improve business' understanding of related laws and regulatory requirements
•    Develop policies and programs that encourage managers and employees to report suspected violations and other improprieties, without fear of retaliation.
 

Required Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business
•    10 years of regulatory compliance experience with US government and DoD
•    2 years of experience working directly for a SSA/FOCI mitigated company
•    Active Secret DOD Clearance or the ability to obtain one
•    Must be a US Citizen due to program security clearance requirements 
 
Additional Qualifications:

•    GKN Experience
•    JD Law and/or MBA strongly preferred
•    Export Control experience ITAR/EAR
•    IT NIST standards experience
