Job Summary

Position will perform professional financial analysis and planning duties to support overall programs, processes and strategies and objectives including consolidation and analysis of financial and operation data and reports, presentations to management, financial modeling for budgeting and forecasting.  This position will also perform general financial accounting tasks such as processing, recording, reporting, maintenance and analysis of financial transactions.  Position will work manage members of the Finance team and work with a diverse team including Planning, Purchasing, Engineering and Corporate employees.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops and prepare comprehensive analysis including budgets, forecasts, sales analysis, profitability analysis, cash flow analysis, CAPEX and review of actual versus budgeted expenses
  • Consolidates monthly financial data
  • Prepares weekly and monthly reporting packages, which support the financial and operational management of the business
  • Calculates product development revenue using percentage of completion methods
  • Identifies cost reduction opportunities
  • Interfaces with internal, governmental and other financial auditors as required
  • Assists in preparation of financial analysis to support capital projects
  • Implements process improvements
  • Some International Travel
  • Must be able to work within restrictions imposed by ITAR and other governmental regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business Administration
  • 7 years of experience in a Public Accounting and/or Manufacturing environment 
  • 5 years of combined experience with financial planning and analysis, data analytics, improving data automation, data mining, data reliability and forecast accuracy, and ERP system implementations
  • U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirement

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Management roles and display problem-solving capabilities
  • MBA and/or CPA preferred
  • Experience dealing with Government Accounting, DCAA/DCMA audit
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Manufacturing Finance and Accounts
  • Good understanding of the Aerospace industry
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Accounting Software preferred
