Job Summary

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that aerospace electrical harnesses meet established quality, safety, and regulatory standards within the aerospace industry. The primary function of this role is to inspect, test, and validate products at different stages of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with technical specifications, engineering drawings, procedures, and customer requirements.

This position involves detecting defects, documenting nonconformities, and collaborating with production and engineering teams to implement corrective and preventive actions, thereby ensuring the reliability and traceability of the final product.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of aerospace electrical harnesses.
  • Verify compliance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and applicable aerospace standards
  • Conduct

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  •  
  • electrical tests such as continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing.
  • Identify, document, and report nonconformities in accordance with quality procedures.
  • Approve or reject in-process and finished products based on established acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure proper traceability of materials, components, and finished products.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Job Qualifications

Previous experience in quality inspection, preferably in the aerospace or electrical harness industry.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality standards is preferred. 
  • Experience using inspection and measurement equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately identify defects.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
  • Understanding of quality processes such as nonconformance reporting and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Basic English proficiency (depending on company requirements).
