As GKN’s Engineering Hub, we support the business with all Aerospace Engineering tasks needed. We serve the complete Aircraft Design & Development Life Cycle from Proposal to Certification, from Production assistance to In-Flight Support.

Role purpose:
Office Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing front office operations while ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies. This role combines reception and administrative duties with the coordination and monitoring of HSE practices to support a safe and efficient workplace.
Job Responsibilities
- Reception: welcome visitors and manage the reception area in a professional manner while following the security protocols; handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services and general inquiries;
- Health & Safety Assistance: Implement GKN Aerospace HSE policies and procedures throughout the site
- Employee Support: respond to employee queries (e.g., statement requests, general guidance) and direct them to the appropriate resources when needed.
- Supplier Relations: build and maintain positive interactions with office suppliers and service providers and other procurement activities.
- Events & Logistics: provide organizational and administrative support for internal and external events, workshops, and initiatives.
- Administrative Support for Travel: organize travel arrangements for employees (transport, accommodation, etc.);
- Office Operations: Ensure smooth day-to-day running of the office environment.
- Data Management: enter and maintain records in HR and administrative systems with accuracy and confidentiality; Timesheet tracking .
- Additional Duties: take on other administrative and HR-related tasks as required, supporting the team’s needs.
What are we looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative or office assistant role;
- Prior experience in an international or multicultural environment;
- Availability to work on-site from our Bucharest office;
- Technical Skills: strong knowledge of MS Office; comfortable handling data and documentation.
- Communication: excellent English skills (written and verbal), with the ability to interact effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Organization & Problem-Solving: strong planning, prioritization, and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Adaptability: curious and proactive

- Range salary:10.535– 11.967 RON (monthly in gross, depending on experience and qualifications);
