What You'll Be Doing

At GKN Aerospace, we are building an IT AI & Data Science Center of Excellence (COE) to drive responsible AI innovation and adoption across our organization. Our mission is to enable cutting-edge AI solutions while maintaining strong cybersecurity, maximizing the value of AI investments, and delivering cost-effective, scalable AI operations that empower our people and business.

 

Our Goals:

  • Develop a governance framework to support effective and efficient AI adoption.
  • Collaborate with business teams to raise AI awareness and explore opportunities.
  • Provide the skills and standardized tools needed to scale AI solutions across the organization.

 

We are looking for a passionate and driven graduate to join our team and contribute to the development of AI capabilities, supporting key areas such as governance, business collaboration, and technical innovation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop skills, and make a meaningful impact in the evolving world of AI at GKN Aerospace.

AI Literacy Support:

  • Assist in developing materials such as guides and presentations to help non-technical teams understand AI tools.
  • Act as a link between technical and business teams to ensure clear communication about AI opportunities.

Technical Support:

  • Gather business requirements and translate them into technical needs.
  • Assist in researching and selecting AI tools while ensuring compliance with security standards.
  • Support the identification of skill development needs for business requirements.
  • Governance & Documentation:
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of AI policies, frameworks, and standards.

Business Collaboration:

  • Provide technical input during brainstorming and project planning sessions.
  • Learning & Development:
  • Engage in training and mentorship to enhance AI, governance, and business communication skills.

 

What You'll Bring


•    A degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
•    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
•    Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
