Have you ever wanted to work in the Aerospace industry?

Have you got recognised skills in an engineering, mechanical or related field?

If the answer's 'yes' then we want to hear from you! Due to increased demand for our world class products, we're looking for people with related skills to come and join the team as Aerospace Fitters at our large manufacturing site in Filton, Bristol. Here we manufacture large, complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft.

What You'll Bring

To help us make a difference, you’ll bring your passion and expertise/ talent for what you do. You also must have completed a recognised apprenticeship (Apprenticeship Level 2 or 3) in one of the following trades:

Motor Mechanics Coppersmithing Sheet Metal Working
Marine Fitting Agricultural Fitting  Fabricating
Plumbing Welding Pattern Making
Pipe Fitting Gas Fitting Coach Making
Plating Jig Erecting A/C Fitting

If you already have a recognised apprenticeship completed within the Aerospace Sector, you're of course welcome to apply here too and we can fast-track your application. 

What We'll Offer

If you're joining us on the skills transfer scheme, we'll provide training and support over two years to help you achieve a nationally recognised Level 3 NVQ Technical Certificate Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering (Aircraft Manufacture Mechanical)
If you'll join our skills transfer scheme, your starting salary will be £30,870, rising to £32,357 per annum when fully trained. If you're an already qualified apprentice within Aerospace, your salary will be £31,084 rising to £32,357 per annum
The standard working week is 35 hours, although you may be working shifts and sometimes there is a need for overtime - shift premium and overtime rates are paid.
