Job Summary
Our modern manufacturing facility at Western Approach is an International Centre of Excellence in composite wing structure design and production, manufacturing composite wing spars and Fixed Trailing Edge assemblies for some of the world's most popular aircrafts. Reporting to the Finance Controller, we are seeking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to join a team of 4. The successful candidate will perform financial accounting and transaction processing whilst providing analysis, insight and control to the finance function across actuals, forecast and budget. You will ensure that the balance sheet positions for the FBP’s area of responsibility are carefully managed, controlled, reconciled and communicated in line with expectations. This is a collaborative, diverse and engaging role offering the flexibility to work from home for up to 2 days per week, dependent on the needs of the business.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and book financial data to ensure that P&L and balance sheet positions are correctly reflected
- Provide business partnering to site-based functions
- Provide insight, analysis and reporting to site-based functions, and support in interpreting and acting on financial data
- Support financial planning and budgeting
- Provide reporting and analysis
- Ensure balance sheet positions are reconciled, understood, and aged or judgmental items are actioned
- Support internal and external audits as required
- Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices
How You'll Contribute

Essential:
- Part/newly qualified accountant
- Experience of managing finance, accounting, budgeting, control, pricing, business analytics and reporting
Desirable:
- Experience of SAP FI/CO modules
- Knowledge of manufacturing costing
