Job Summary
At our GKN Filton site, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft.
we’re looking for a talented Communications and Business Graduate to join our team and help shape the way we connect with our site teams at our Filton site in Bristol.
What You'll Be Doing
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across business administration, content creation, campaign planning, digital communications, and stakeholder engagement.
You’ll work closely with senior members of the senior leadership team, reporting directly into the Head of Transformation and CI, while advancing your skills needed to build a successful career in strategic communications.
You will:
- Be responsible for the planning and delivery of communication campaigns.
- You will be a part of key business initiatives reinforcing our site's culture.

Create engaging content including newsletters, copy, and internal communications.

Assist with events, briefings, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Support business administration, bringing structure and coordination initiatives.
What You'll Bring

Essential requirements:

Degree in Communications, Business, Public Relations, Marketing, Media, or related field.

A driven and aspirational self-starter with high initiative, working independently, brimming with ideas and creativity.

Advanced PowerPoint, graphics, and writing skills.

Ability to communicate clearly and confidently.

Strong organisational/administrative skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
Desirable requirements:

Experience (placement, internship, voluntary, or project‑based) in a communications or marketing role.
- Basic knowledge of design or video editing tools.
- Adobe Creative Suite experience.
