It's Boarding Time!

 

As our Commercial officer you provide Commercial expertise and support to our local specific customer  team. This role supports the Dassault Faclon F6X, F7X and F8X programmes in Filton and Papendrecht, You work to ensure the management and resolution of commercial issues on a day to day basis such as commercial change management, support local level claims, bids and proposals. You Inform the Programme IPTs (integrated program team) of contractual obligations and boundaries. You are the first point of escalation for customer purchase order or contractual issues internally and from customer.  This role is challeging if you like to set up and implement improvement processes, and negotiations with your customer.

You will be based in Papendrecht in The Netherlands and you work together with a Program support officer and Program manager

Your responsibilities

  • You actively interact with your customers and program team where contractual obligations and limits to obligations are.
  • You support new bidding activity when required, including the compilation of a business model and Commercial proposal.
  • You manage/maintain the company order book to reflect the customers purchase order requirements.
  • You will ensure that commercial/contractual correspondence files are maintained.
  • You maintain key performance metrics and contribute to internal reporting requirements.
  • You support change negotiations with customers.
  • You set up aftersales procedures and improve current processes
  • You ensure that overdue debt is kept to a minimum and customers pay in accordance with agreed payment terms.
  • You support Project / Program Review structures and reports
  • You actively review Customer MRP and conclude on demand changes, 
  • You manage opportunities to improve the business case.
     

What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • You have a BSc Degree 
  • You have a healty drive and ambition to let this program grow in value
  • You are experienced with commercial activities, such as customer relations, negotiations, aftersales and product life cycle management
  • You have a least one (1) year experience in a similar role
  • You are customer focused and have customer contract knowlegde
  • You have excellent computer skills and you are not afraid to communicate in English
