Job Summary

As the world starts to open up again we are looking for an Office Manager to support our Head Office in reopening. The Office Manager will be expected to ensure the effective running of Office facilities within the GKN Aerospace Head Office building alongside the provision of admin support to Head Office based functions.

Job Responsibilities

  • The manning of a low volume reception ensuring all visitors receive a professional welcome.
  • Effective screening of visitors to ensure Export/Control compliance and that all visitors are inducted into Health and Safety procedures.
  • Maintaining an effective meeting room booking system.
  • Oversight over services provided to the office such as cleaning, catering, incoming and outgoing post etc.
  • Provide the day to day interface with employees and respond to all queries and emails efficiently, including car parking allocation and security badge management.
  • Provide the day to day interface with the Blythe Valley Building contractor.
  • Support with additional office administration tasks as required such as entering PO’s, invoice payment processing, managing the office budget etc.
  • Ordering & maintaining office supplies.
  • Ordering catering and lunches etc.
  • Provide HSE support and complete regular safety checks.
  • Be the point of contact for Building Management queries.
  • Provide admin support to the HR and IT Functions, such as arranging meetings, travel and diary management.

Job Qualifications


Minimum GCSE / Secondary Education
Maths and English
Experience of dealing service facilities suppliers
exposure to interacting with senior management
MS Office - intermediate
Good verbal and written communication skills
