Job Summary

To be able to support GAI (AES/AS/DL) with all required day to day IT issues. Support GAI during critical times of scheduled maintainence & Outages.

Uphold the SLA on IT Deliverables

Resolve user issues & maintain key GAI Asstes.

Job Responsibilities

Skills, Experience:

0-5 years of experience.

Essential Skills 
Unix Linux
-    Will include being involved in crafting, running and monitoring the infrastructure to support UNIX-Linux Serve
-    Implement Distributed Queuing on various platforms.
-    Implement Triggering and work on both Channel and Application Triggering by configuring channel Initiators and Trigger Monitors.
-    Implement Clustering mechanism to reduce the administrative tasks.
-    Work on Client-Server architecture for one-to-one and one to many connections.

Network:
-     Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s networks and in house servers
-     Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
-     Keep an eye out for needed updates
-     Support and administer third-party applications
-     Ensure network security and connectivity
-    Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
    
WIN Server
-    Troubleshooting - Windows 2003/2007/2010 or higher version Server, OS Knowledge - ADS, DNS, DHCP, Terminal Server & analysing operating system Memory dump.
-     Must possess good knowledge of Lync, Skype, yammer and SharePoint.

Misc.
-    Solving of IT incidents related to local IT equipment like desktops/laptops, printers, mobile devices.
-    Flexible working extended hours.
-    Performing IT service requests related to local IT equipment
-    Assistance of Fokker NL IT Staff on server and network equipment maintenance 
-    Daily monitoring and maintenance tasks on server rooms and backup equipment
-    Managing and communication to 3rd party service providers for maintenance and troubleshooting of local IT equipment (hardware / connections)
-    Maintaining an inventory overview of all IT-related hardware and software, including the related (software) licenses, applications and users.
-    Participate in audits on compliance with IT security policies and to help distributing/explaining them internally
-    Responding within agreed time limits to incidents or service requests
-    General assistance of users in the correct usage of IT equipment.
