Job Summary

We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Senior Buyer to take ownership of supplier delivery performance and play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence across our supply chain.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure materials are delivered on time, in full, supporting business performance and customer satisfaction.

How You'll Contribute

You’ll be at the heart of supplier operations, driving performance, improving processes, and ensuring data accuracy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery performance across all suppliers to meet business targets
  • Build and manage strong supplier relationships to support performance and continuous improvement
  • Lead weekly multi-functional team (MFT) reviews with key suppliers to resolve issues and track progress
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment
  • Maintain accurate supplier and procurement data in SAP to optimise demand planning and reduce shortages
  • Manage and update supplier promise dates to ensure accurate scheduling and visibility
  • Support monthly Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) forecasts and delivery commitments
  • Ensure compliance with standard procurement processes and daily operating rhythms
  • Monitor supplier capacity and forward load to ensure capability meets demand
  • Own and drive the supplier scorecard process, ensuring performance transparency and accountability
  • Promote and comply with Health, Safety & Environmental standards, reporting risks and incidents
  • Champion Export Control compliance, ensuring adherence to regulations and internal controls

What You'll Bring

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong ERP system experience (SAP preferred)
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
  • Proven ability in relationship management and stakeholder engagement
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Proficent in english both written & verbal.

 

Desirable

  • Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in purchasing or supply chain roles
  • MCIPS qualification (or working towards)
