Overview
GKN Aerospace has more than 41 manufacturing facilities, service centres and offices in over 13 countries.
Our General Managers provide leadership, management and direction to those operations, while ensuring cost, quality and schedule commitments are met or exceeded. They provide the strategic vision and implementation to manage all aspects of the operation.
What we look for
We are looking for senior professionals who can:
- Create and deliver a philosophy of leadership, teamwork and problem solving resulting in continuous improvement throughout the organisation by focusing on the needs of the customer, empowering employees, and optimising processes.
- Demonstrate ability to strategically seek out, bid, and win business opportunities with existing and new customers.
- Understand all of the functional areas and how they affect growth, profitability, quality, and operations.
- Work effectively with customers to resolve issues involving contracts, quality, and production.
